FAQ

FAQ

What does a typical pest control treatment include?

When our certified technician arrives, he starts by discussing your current pest issues. Then, he will inspect the areas that require treatment and service them as needed. He will also make any sanitation or structural recommendations required to avoid a future pest issue.

Do I need to be out of the house?

For most of our services, it's okay to be home at the time of service. However, if you have any concerns or health problems, you can always check with your health care provider to determine if a treatment should be done or not. We gladly offer any information on the products we use or any other questions you may have.

Will the treatment hurt my pets?

For a healthy dog or cat, pest control treatments are not normally a problem. However, we do recommend that pets be out of the house until the treated areas are able to dry (typically within three hours). If you have birds or exotic pets, check with your vet before treatment.

Do you have a warranty?

On almost all of our residential pest control services, we do offer a warranty. If a follow-up treatment is needed or requested within the four month period, it will be serviced at a reduced rate. Many of our customers take advantage of their warranty by requesting a second service to provide additional protection from pests.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No, we do not require any of our residential customers to sign a contract. We firmly believe that if you are satisfied by our pest control services, then you will call us again when you need an exterminator.

How soon can you do my service

In most cases, we can schedule a certified technician to be at your home within a day or two. However, depending on the problem, same day service is possible.

What forms of payment can I use?

We accept cash and check.

Spiders

There are thousands of species of spiders, and many of them are common household pests. They are natural predators who feed on other insects and small arthropods. They are commonly found under furniture, in closets, in angles of window frames, basements, crawlspaces, or in upper corners.
Bees, Hornets, and Wasps — Exterminator Company in Elk Grove Village, IL

Bees, Hornets, and Wasps

For the most part, these are a very beneficial group of insects. They are the major pollinators of flowering plants, and they help reduce the population of many pest species. However, they can also become a pest themselves when they nest in a home or entryway. Because they share a common nest, they are social insects. This leads them to be extremely defensive and humans should always approach with caution. Do not seal or caulk the opening of the nest because this can complicate the treatment process.
